ok... my best friend moved to new york (across the country from me... NV...) ok well we have been best friends for like 2 1/2 years... and he is coming to visit his father... we are both 13.. and we talk ALOT on AIM and myspace... we both told eachother we like eachother.. we know everything about eachother.. (best friends for a reason?!) i completely trust him, he trusts me.. he is nice funny atheletic sweet smart great sence of humor pretty cute.. and i am atheletic, my own self, funny, and i would never hurt anyone.. (everyone calls me a pushover..) accept him and my other best friend.. here is what he wrote about me in his myspace... ''I have 2 great best friends. The first one is Megan. Heh young kids. Just go for it, get that kiss in. It'll be a memory. I'm really surprised your mature enough to know a bf/gf situation wouldn't work out with your age and geographic location, very smart.

Seeing as you've got a good head on your shoulders I would go with what you think is right. Kiss him, full on the mouth. Years down the road when you two meet up again it'll be a memory your cherish for a long time to come and who knows maybe when you two hit college you'll be closer together and get together.

Just keep in mind your both 13 and there will be tons of things for you to do as you grow up. That includes mistakes and relationships. So don't get bent up over it when he leaves and keep your mind open to other guys. But you may as well kiss him when you get the chance.

Hi. Ok here goes. You may not want to hear this, but as a Mom, my answer would be to just wait a while.

Yes, give him a hug when you see him ... but hold off on the kiss thing. Yes you are really young and so is HE. Boys at 13 are far less mature....and things may progress way to far and much quicker then you may realize even without thinking.

At 13 honey, you have your whole life ahead...and I know that distance makes it hard for you...but you do chat on IM etc.

Give it time and maturity and if it is a long lasting relationship, then taking that extra time...will be truly worth the wait.

Just enjoy each other's company....without anything else. :-)

You are too young to indulge in such activities. The time you wasted in writing such big story could be utilized in your studies and sports which would be more meaning ful.
